Bookpluto ("Bookpluto", "the app", "we", "us") is a field-service and dispatch operations app for installer, HVAC, and home-services teams that helps companies schedule jobs, coordinate workers, communicate with customers, and collect payment for completed real-world work. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and how it is handled.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to operate the app's features. We do not collect data for advertising and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Contact & Account Information

• Your name and email address (used to sign in and to manage your account and team).
• Phone numbers and email addresses of team members and customers that you or your company add to coordinate jobs.
• Service (job-site) addresses entered for bookings. These are typed addresses that you provide; they are matched to map coordinates by a geocoding service for display and routing. They are not read from your device's GPS or location sensors.

User Content

• Photos and document attachments you upload to a booking (for example, job-site photos captured with your camera or selected from your photo library).
• Notes, comments, and communications you add to bookings and jobs.

Payment & Payout Information

• Payment and payout metadata only, such as payment status, payout amounts, and connected-account references used to pay workers and collect customer payments for completed jobs.
• We do not store raw card numbers or bank-account numbers. Card entry and bank onboarding happen on payment pages hosted by our payment processor, Stripe; the app stores only the references and status Stripe returns to us.

Identifiers & Technical Data

• Account, user, and company identifiers used to operate your workspace.
• A push-notification token, registered so the app can send you transactional and dispatch notifications. This token is removed from our servers when you sign out.

2. How We Use Your Information

All information is used solely to provide and operate app functionality:

• To authenticate you and run your company workspace.
• To schedule, dispatch, and manage field-service jobs.
• To attach photos and notes to the correct booking.
• To send transactional and dispatch notifications.
• To create customer payment links and to onboard and pay workers for completed real-world services.

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or cross-app or cross-site tracking.

3. Payments — Stripe as a Processor

Bookpluto uses Stripe to process payments for real-world field-service work and to handle worker payouts via Stripe Connect. When a customer pays for a job or a worker onboards for payouts, card and bank-account details are entered directly on Stripe's secure, hosted pages. Bookpluto receives and stores only payment/payout metadata (status, amounts, and account references), never the underlying card or bank data. Stripe's handling of payment data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

4. Data We Do Not Collect

• Precise / device location. The app does not access your device's GPS or location services. Job-site locations are addresses you type in, not coordinates read from your device.
• Microphone / audio. The app does not record audio.
• Tracking & analytics SDKs. The app includes no advertising, attribution, or cross-app tracking technologies.

5. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with:

• Your company / team. Data you enter is visible to the authorized members of your workspace, according to their role.
• Service providers that operate the app on our behalf. These are principally our payment processor (Stripe) and our hosting and push-notification infrastructure, each bound to use the data only to provide their service to us.
• Legal requirements. When required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. When an account is deleted, we delete or anonymize the associated personal data, except where we are required to retain certain records (for example, transaction records) to meet legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations.

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your account directly from within the app. Open Settings → Delete my account, confirm your password, and confirm the deletion. No email or support request is required.

When you delete your account, we anonymize your personal data in place — your name, email address, phone number, and profile photo are removed or replaced with a non-identifying placeholder — your account is closed, and you are signed out of every device. To meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations (see Section 6), records tied to past bookings and payouts are retained in anonymized form so they can no longer be linked back to you.

For safety, deletion is blocked in two cases until you resolve them first: if you are the only administrator of a company (transfer ownership before deleting, so the company's bookings and payouts are not orphaned), or if you have pending payouts still owed to you (settle them first). 8. Children

Bookpluto is a business tool intended for use by professional field-service teams. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice.
